Hello, I formated my hdd and installed windows xp , after installation windows won't load, i have access to bios but when it comes to load windows xp it just gives me a black screen and a short beep

are you using the original disk to load XP?

I assume that you set this hard drive as the primary boot drive in your bios. If not, it needs done.
