In order to programmaticaly generate voice (.wav) files on an industrial alarm system, by using Text-to-Speech software, I need to insert a PCIe sound card into an HP ML350G6 server running Windows Server 2003.
We have now an ASUS XONAR DX sound card, and we try to install the XP sound card driver, but it crashes the system during the installation.
For a quite similar installation, we installed in 2008 a Creative SB X-Fi Xtreme Audio PCI Xpress inside a Dell server running Windows 2003, which works fine

It doesn't look like Asus provides a driver for WS2K3. Try running Windows Update to see if it at least installs a UAA audio driver for it, though it may not support all of the features without a proper driver.
