Need suggestion about Crossfire

i`m using gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H...i wonder my PCIE1 running at x16, PCIE2 running at x8...what makes different with board that running both x16??
i`m about to change my board to GA-890FXA-UD5...that board runng both x16 PCIE...i`m new in CF setup....i need a little suggestion...please...

The 890GX chipset offers x8/x8 bandwidth. The 890FX chipset offers x16/x16 bandwidth, which, if you're using a super high end card like the HD 5970, is essential, but for anything less than that like the HD 5870, there's not much point upgrade as there isn't much of a performance impact.

Well,going from dual 8x to dual 16x won't give you a noticeable boost unless you play at a resolution like 2560x1600 with AA/AF on.

Well,that's not exactly true,because a "single" 5970 will run at 16x on a motherboard which supports CrossFire at dual 8x.

^ Yeah I know Maziar, I was probably thinking that if an HD 5970 is running in x8 mode then it will be at x4 for each GPU or so, probably because OP was talking about running x8/x8 lol.
