Adding heatsink to heatpipe 'plate'

Hey

Had an idea to try and drop temps and wondered if anyone had seen it before.

I'm thinking of adding something similar to a ram heatsink or jsut a generic low profile heatsink to the base plate of my heatpipe cooler (see pic to see what I mean):



I figure with all the air blowing on there, it could help (or at least look cool!)

Anyone seen this before?
