THE SYSTEM: 4 Sticks of OCZ Heatpipe Reaper Enhanced bandwidth edition, 6400 DDR2 2 pairs of 2Gb X 2 which makes up the 8Gb (massive overkill for gaming i know) According the internet and my sticks the timing should be 4-4-4-15. The motherboard is an ASUS M3A32 MVP Deluxe WiFi Edition I have an AMD Phenom 9850 BE 2.5Ghz And a Raptor X 150Gb HHD An Ati Powercolor 5770 HD PCS+ 1Gb GPU And this is all powered by my Coolermaster 750 Watt PSU THE BIOS: 2T Mode > Auto/ Enabled/ Disabled DRAM Timing Mode > Auto/ Both DCT0 1st Info 6-5-6-6-18-6-127.5-127.5-75 TR CL Auto TRCD Auto TRP Auto TRAS Auto tWR Auto tRFC0 Auto tRFC1 Auto tRFC2 Auto DCT0 2nd Info 75 - 24 - 3 - 3 - 3 (5) tRFC3 Auto TRC Auto TRRD Auto tWtR Auto tRtP Auto DCT1 1st Info 6 - 5 - 6 - 6 - 3 (5) - 18 - 24 - 6 DCT1 2nd Info 3 - 3 - 127.5 - 127.5 - 75 - 75 WHAT DO I NEED TO CHANGE AND ALTER IN ORDER TO SET THE CORRECT TIMINGS AND VOLTAGE IN THE BIOS, THE RAM WAS SET TO 400Mhz by my MOBO WHEN IT SHOULD RUN AT 800Mhz I HAVE CHANGED THIS AND I WANT TO CHECK THE TIMINGS ARE CORRECT. THANKS More about : setting timings ram bios saint19 a c 292 V Motherboard July 25, 2010 10:07:14 PM Hi. Your RAM is running fine. DDR2 means double data rate that in easy words means that u need multiply by two (2) the speed that u see in ur case 400MHz x 2 = 800MHz that is the rated speed of ur RAM. If u still want change the specs to the manufacturer specs u only u need change this: 1- CL: 4 2- tRCD: 4 3- tRP: 4 4- tRAS: 15 Leave the rest in auto and the voltage too but if u have some problem change the voltage from auto to the specific for the RAM. jasobnd July 26, 2010 9:54:14 AM Thanks for the quick reply i thought my board was running it at half speed. Don't spose you know how to overclock my heap o' sh*t Phenom 9850 lol cos no matter what i do it never works feels like my system is such a miss match of hardware that it just doesn't work. Ive tried both AMD overdrive and some basic tweaks in the bios and even tried the bundled software from asus which is supposed to overclock on the fly but that just crashes everything aswell. Cheers again for the help with my RAM.
