Well, I've had this baby since about April or so, and in October it just stopped working. I had planned on getting a new 2TB Internal Hard Drive, but now that the prices have skyrocketed I'm wanting to know if I can salvage this at all? Basically, whenever I try to open any partitioning program or click on it on Explorer, everything just freezes up. The default Windows 7 Disk Manager just sits on "Loading Disk Configuration Information", but everything loads instantly as soon as I turn it off. I'm unable to format it in any program as of now, the only program I can get open while it's plugged in (occasionally I get others but I get the same problem) is MiniTool Partition Wizard, and when trying to reformat in that it just sits on the formatting step and won't change. Trying to format it into FAT32 with FAT32_GUI just freezes it at 9% if I can even get it open. So, does anyone know if there's anything I can do? I'd be fine with opening it up if it may be something inside (which doesn't seem likely, but, may as well ask). Thanks either way.
