You forgot to include a psu. If you want to save cash, and don't mind rebates then this psu will be fine. If not, you will need a 500w psu, only choose from a good brand like Antec, Corsair, OCz, Seasonic, and Thermaltake.

Thats to expensive for a 5770, use this one here, its cheaper for the same thing. The 5770 is meant to play games at high settings at a 1900 res. Gpus like the 4770, 4850, and the GTS 250 are designed to play games at high settings at a 1600. So if you want total overkill go with the 5770, but if you want to save money and still see your videogames at high settings then get one of the other 3 cards I mentioned.

What if I were to drop the case I chose and pick

RAIDMAX SMILODON ATX-612WBP Black 1.0mm SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Foldout MB Computer Case With 500W Power Supply - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811156062&cm_re=500W_PSU-_-11-156-062-_-Product

It comes with a 500W power supply, and the reviews seem good on it. Should it be good enough to power everything? Thanks for the suggestions on the card, the mobo and the dvd drive.

That case is fine, but the psu is not. Its from a no name brand and does not have 80 plus certification. But the Antec Sonata III comes with a 500w psu that does have 80 plus is $99 with free shipping. Try that instead, it will save you $25.
