I changed my computers administrator setting

Hello, i changed my computers administrator setting to something lower in authority which isn't letting me download anything or change any other settings. how do i change it back to the administrator?

You need to be an administrator to do that. Login as administrator and change your account back. If you are using the welcome screen, the administrator account is hidden. If you have xp home, you will need to boot into safe mode. In Xp Pro, hit ctrl-al-del twice at the welcome screen then login as "administrator".
