Can i overclock my cpu?

im wondering if i can overclock my cpu :p 
motherboard : P7P55d LE
graphic card : GTX 460 1gb
cpu : intel i5 760
power supply : 650w ( forgot what brand is it )
kingston 4GB Ram ( ddr 3 2x 2gb)
cooling ( the one that comes with the cpu)

also . iwant to change my ram to this

but my friend said that i cant run 1600 . and thats all thank you :)

From the looks of your build, you should be able to overclock. Personally, I wouldn't on the stock cooler, at least not too high. Also, your motherboard should handle RAM at 1600, probably by enabling XMP in the BIOS.

Get a better cooler before you attempt overclocking!

so you mean that i have to enable XMP in BIOS? otherwise i cant?
