Now that we know Nvidia has decided not to go traditional and name their FERMI the GT100, and the series would be the gt1xx instead of the GTX3xx as most of us assumed, what do you think of the renaming?
I think 100 is a powerful number if you are expecting a technology that is powerful, efficient, and has 3 billion transistors. It is subtle yet like a reimaging of a product, it is easy and quick to say.... Marketing at its best from Nvidia. Too bad they are a bit late.... 8months late!
