Hi well I have read on alot of forums that people have been experiencing a high pitched buzzing sound on their motherboard.

I don't have this board but I was going to get it for my next build until I heard about this issue. I am concerned about the noise that ALOT of people have been experiencing. Would it be better to go with the first gen p7p55d Pro board? And what other boards would be good alternatives for gaming.

Hello and welcome to the forums
Well there are always satisfied/dissatisfied customers for a specific product,i did a search and there are some users reporting buzzing sounds(there are some solutions for it) and there are some users with no issues.
But if you are worried about buying it and want alternatives, then have a look at P75P55D-E EVO.
I have the P7P55D EVO(Non USB 3.0 version) and i haven't had any buzzing sounds.

Cool thanks for the reply dude :D

Yeah, most of the issues were around January/February when it first came out theres still great reviews for this board so I think I will take my chances with the p7p55d-e pro.

Yeah i've seen the C'state fix for it but I heard its not really good to disable it.
I can always RMA it if it does do the buzz noise thing anyway. Thanks I will go for the EVO board if the P7P55d-e Pro fails on me.
