GIGABYTE GA-890FXA-UD7 Crossfire question

i wonder about GIGABYTE GA-890FXA-UD7 board... if i put my first GC into PCIEx16_1, and my 2nd GC into PCIEx8_1...both of my GC should running X16 or X8??? :??: 
the PCIEx16_1 and PCIEx16_2 too far if i wanna put just 2 GC....
i`m going to buy new board for my mobo, but i don`t know to choose theese 2 board for my mobo...i`m just using 2 way Crossfire setup..

It will run at 8x, what GC are we talking here?

Both cards will run at x8.

Why not get the Asus Crosshair IV Formula?

Why are the 16x slots too far apart?

It's by design to get more air flow having space between the cards...

i`m using Gigabyte HD5850 oc series....i`m just wanna get gigabyte board only coz all my part using gigabyte brand...lol :D  .....

for me it`s too far apart coz it`ll takes 3 PCIE to put GC to PCIEx16_2... is there have CF bridge that long??

This is a three-slot bridge, which should work on the UD7... One that ships with the cards should work on the UD5...
