I am very happy with my 6 months old system it runs very stable.

Here are the specs:

Graphics card : ATI Radeon HD 4770
Hard disk : Western Digital Raptor 74GB (boot disk)
Western Digital Caviar Green 1TB SATA2
Optical drive : Pioneer BDR-203BK
Sound card : Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio
Case : Cooler Master Elite 342 Black
Power supply : Corsair HX620W
CPU cooler : Thermaltake ISGC-300
Monitor : Eizo S2000-BK
Keyboard : Elecom TK-FCP011BK
Mouse : Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 5000
Case fans : Cooler Master 120mm Ball Bearing (top of case)
Operating system : Microsoft Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate EN Full Version
Other components : 2x GUP Smart Drive Silent Hard Disk Drive Enclosure

Might need a little update on the GPU and you can take out the Blu-Ray burner.

Could slap an Intel SSD in there soon.

I'm not sure what you are looking for as recommendations, since the PC is already built.

Here are a few:
  • A SSD will be a big improvement over the older Raptor for your boot drive.
  • Since it isn't a "gamer" build, there is no real need to upgrade the GPU. If you decide to, get an ATI 5770 or 5750. They will be nice upgrades for system.
  • CABLE MANAGEMENT - Your picture in your link showed the case could use some better cable management, which will help with airflow, cooling and appearance.
  • CLEAN - Your picture in your link showed the case looking pretty dusty. I say it is time for a nice winter cleaning. :)

Thank you for the valuable comments.

The SSDs are half price since I build system this spring, time to drop an Intel X25-M Mainstream SATA SSD SSDSA2MH080G2R5 in soon. Prices here in Japan http://kakaku.com/item/K0000046440/

Sorry it is a little dusty, it runs fine even with the cable mess ;-)
