Epson 740i failed to print message

I have a Dell Latitude 131L with an Epson 740i printer. I used to be able (Windows XP) to print with no problem, but yesterday I began to get "document failed to print" message. Printer is on and connected and set to default. The printer does not even make any attempt to print. Please help!

    Check the printer (control panel > Fax & printers) - If documents are in the queue (not printed), the print spooler has probably stopped. Run services.msc and start the print spooler. Then restart the document.

    Yes, the documents are in Queue. Where do I find the services.msc? Thanks!!!

    You click Start > Run then type "services.msc" in the text box (without the quotes). Scroll down to "Print Spooler" - Click it and restart it.
