I have a Dell Latitude 131L with an Epson 740i printer. I used to be able (Windows XP) to print with no problem, but yesterday I began to get "document failed to print" message. Printer is on and connected and set to default. The printer does not even make any attempt to print. Please help!
Check the printer (control panel > Fax & printers) - If documents are in the queue (not printed), the print spooler has probably stopped. Run services.msc and start the print spooler. Then restart the document.
