Value for money Graphic Card

Good morning every body. Hope the very best for all.
To be here probably i need your help.
Which is the Value for money Graphic Card for my system??

M/B:GIGABYTE GA-M720-US3
CPU: Phenom II X2 245
RAM:KINGSTON KHX6400D2K2/2G DDR2 2GB (2X1GB) PC6400 800MHZ HYPERX DUAL CHANNEL KIT

Now i have an ATi RADEON X700 series 256 MB. I know it's not a good one :(

a 4870 or 4890 would go well with your setup, but again, it all depends on what resolution your monitor is set to, what size your monitor is and what your budget is. Also, is it for gaming? if so, list the games you play

Might be able to find a 4850 for 100 Euro, i would start there, it's a great card that runs 1680 x 1250 resolution pretty well, not sure how it would handle 1920 x 1080 tho.

If you want something cheaper try to find a ATI 4730, they are sold in Europe & have slightly less performance than a 4830 (on average 2-4%)
The 4730 would be the minimum for that res, unless the game is very old.

I would recommend a 4770/4850 to do a proper job.


From your link the 9800GT would be the minimum, the same performance as the 4730.
