What is the Best CPU Cooler under $150?

Hey guys! I'm wondering what would be the best CPU cooler for under $150? It can be air cooled or water cooled. It just has to be able to cool down an overclocked 3930k that will be running at 4.2Ghz, or more. My PSU is 850w and I want the best. I was looking at the Noctua DH-D14 or something like that, Also the Corsair H100. Which would be the best to cool down my system for $150? Thanks a lot!!!

  1. I've come to prefer full water loops, The XSPC RASA 750 kits are affordable and very effective. The RASA is a good waterblock. I'm linking the RS240 since it is the most affordable. The RX240 has a thicker, more effective radiator but it's about $20 over your budget.

Personally, I like the expandability of full water over all-in-ones like the Corsair H series
  2. Thanks! The thing is though :/ It needs to be from CompUSA because I'm from Canada, and I'm going through Delaware tomorrow, (to Florida) and since Delaware has no taxes, I found a CompUSA there. So if you could be so kind and find a good one on their website? That would be helpful! Thanks!
  3. That's what I was thinking, but will it be good for overclocking?
  4. very good ... but that will block 1slot ram . if you had RAM (high ramsink like : vegeance etc ) install at 2/3 , if low ram sink is no problem

Yes it will work well ;)
  6. I hate the colour of it, (brown? eww...) Anyways, what do you guys think about this one? I think this is the one I am going to go with.
    The Phanteks PH-TC14PE in Red.

  10. The Phanteks is an excellent cooler and the first new cooler to come along that actually outperforms the Noctua.

At that price the Corsair H100 with fans in push/pull will outperform both but will end up costing a bit more.

    Sounds good enjoy! ;)
  12. 1. Phanteks
    2. Thermalright Silver Arrow
    3. Noc DH-14

The Phanteks has a 5 year warranty, and looks bettethan most ..... color section on fans on other two is horrible.
