Converting from Simple Volume to Striped Volume

I have two hard drives. They are both identical with a capacity of 500 GB each. One the first hard drive, I have Windows installed, and it currently is using 87.3 GB / 500 GB. On the second hard drive, it is 100% empty.

I want the following: 1 striped volume taking 450 GB from each hard drive. 1 spanned volume taking 50 GB from each hard drive. I want everything in my first hard drive to be moved to the new striped volume. Is this possible? Can I do it without reformatting Windows? Help is appreciated!

No. You would have to reinstall to do what you want as making the raid arrays will wipe the drives.
