Hey I've been really interested in building a laptop for myself, mostly for surfin the web and to play at the most WoW. Is it possible or even practical to build one from scratch? Thanks for any help.

Edit: I forgot to mention I do have a 4850 on hand. Is it possible to use it as the videocard?

Last time I checked, you can't include a dedicated desktop GPU for a laptop. I know there are DIY laptops, but the last time I checked, it didn't make any financial sense to do it.
Newegg has a couple:

I think your better off just getting a pre-built Laptop at this point. You can get some pretty decent ones for $6-700. WoW should be able to be played on the 4500m integrated GPU. Not that I'd want to play it with onboard GPU, but it can be done. I'm sure someone here does it and can comment on it. I used to play WoW on a P3 800 mHz w/onboard GPU, but that was before the 1st expansion came out.

Here's some laptops at Newegg that I'd consider in your price bracket:

These all have AMD integrated GPU's (which are better than Intel) and/or have dedicated GPU's.
