Zalman CNPS 10X performa

I have just got the CNPS 10X performa, but when i run my comp the fan constantly runs at full speed even though its connected to the 4 pin cpu fan header, the bios is set to PWM like the manual says it should be. Cpu temp is low (25 degees c) as you would expect as the fan is running at max. Am i missing something?
Using Core i7
Gigabyte EX58-UD5

You can open Easytune and set specific fan control profiles, that might do the trick.

thanks but i actually solved this. eventhough the fan manual says PWM setting is required, I changed it to voltage in the bios and everything runs fine now. it varies speed with temp as you would expect.
