At the moment I have Win 98SE on my Tosh Laptop it came with this OS
although ME was the preferred manual operating system.

Are there any problems upgrading to XP Pro, I tried to up grade with a
upgrade pack but a clean install is obviously required.

I now have a new "full" XP Pro pack.

And also know that a number of drivers will need to be downloaded from
Toshiba to guarantee a sucessful installation including possibly an
updated BIOS.

Can anyone advise me on any other problems I may encounter?

Phil.

I had no problems using the upgrade with my 273; I had it erase the
old o/s and install xp. It had all the drivers I needed, and the
machine is a heck of a lot more stable. I'd get the latest bios and
install it before I began if I were you.
