EaseUs is another Data Recovery program that you might consider using.

In such case you can use Amrev Photo Recovery Software to recover your photos.

formatting of the SD card will delete entire files stored on it. thus the only option to recover the data back is employing third party sd card photo recovery software. it can even recover data even after formatting of the card.

Recently, I also experienced the same problem.
Several days ago, in order to take more pictures, I attempted to transfer all the taken pictures on this card to my computer and made a data backup at the same time. However, a message popped out and asked me to format. But, I could not do that. These pictures were all very precious to me. How do you think of my situation?
Have you tried all these recovery software mentioned above? Which one is better? I merely want to restore all my data back! Help me, please.

Don’t worry! The “not formatted error” problem is not serious. As everyone mentioned above, you need data recovery software.
Actually, there are countless data recovery tools online. Some are free, some are paid. You should put much more attention to select a right one according to your own conditions.
Here are some free ones for you:

Thank you! I have read your recommended article and learned a lot. As to your mentioned data recovery freeware, I have tried the first one and second one since the second one has successfully restored all my data back. Therefore, there is no need to try the rest of them.
Thank you very, very , very much!!!!!!!!

Hi there! So, my card will not read in my computer, camera or the card reader I just bought! The card does not appear to be physically damaged nor was there an incidence of physical damage, so I am not sure why it wont read! So, I got excited after googling for hours and found this tutorial however to my dismay, it did not work The program showed the little red dots for I guess file malfunction…

PS: I just recover my lost files from SD card with Vibosoft card data recovery: http://www.vibosoft.com/disk-utility/retrieve-photos-from-formatted-micro-sd.html
