Will a 478 processor work in an LGA775 socket

I think the 478 refers to Socket478 and judging by that, no that processor won't be compatible with LGA775 sockets. 478 is long gone and saying that LGA775 is well on the way out the door at the moment

As moody89 said, a socket 478 processor will not work in a socket 775 board.
