How do I put USB files onto a HDMI tv ?

So here is what I want to do

put some video files, and some images on a usb stick

get these files onto my HDMI TV


would this work ?

And does this mean I don't have to burn the movies to DVD ?

Looks like that product will work, although the cheap price has me a bit worried. A media player that is good should really cost a bit more. Although who knows, this may be a good product even though it's cheaper that I think it should be.

If you use that, you don't need to burn the movies, can just play them off disk or flash storage.
