I5 OR I7

Hello,
Which processor would be better I5-2520M OR I7-2630QM. My requirements are Designing,Programing and high speed gaming. Plz help!! which would be better i go with i5 with better graphics card or I7 with gud graphics card..pLz help me

You can't compare desktop cpus to laptop cpus. The laptop i5 is a dual core with ht(4 threads) and the i7 is quad core with ht(8 threads).

And I'll also disagree, designing and programming will need cpu and ram not gpu. Gpu would only be for gaming.

What are the graphics cards of each? What are the rest of the specs? What programs do you use? Why a laptop?
