Will this mobo support this memory?

Probably a newbie question but will this motherboard http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813188055 support this memory? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820211409

What have you done to check yourself first?

Did you use the newegg link for the mobo to go to the manufacturers site and compare the memory specs to the mobo requirements? If it matches, did you look for the mobo's list of compatible memory?

If the memory matched the specs for the mobo but did not appear on the list of compatible memory, did you use the newegg link to go the memory manufacturer's site and see if the memory had a list of compatible mobos? Or if the manufacturer has a process for finding compatible memory for different mobos?

Even if the mobo or memory do not have your memory on their list, if it meets the mobo specs, it still might work. But it is safer, and might save a lot of headaches and delays later, to not take that chance.
