Lower benchmark score?

Just completed OC ing my CPU and confused on 3d Mark 11 scoring results...

My system:
i5 2500k OC to 4.5
Asus sabertooth p67 rev 3
32 Gb (8Gb x4) G Skill Ares 1600 10 10 10 RAM
2x EVGA gtx 670 FTW in SLI
850w coolermaster PSU
H60 CPU liquid cooling

before the CPU OC I scored this:

Graphics: 16944
Physics: 7923
Combined: 7618

after the CPU OC I scored this:

Graphics: 5536
Physics: 8045
Combined: 5525

The first test was done with the basic "performance" test the second post OC test was done with advanced "extreme" test. I thought the higher the settings the higher your score would be is this not the case with 3D Mark 11? Or is this a sign of stability issues? I ran Prime 95 for about 4 hours after and temps held at around 73 c max set at 1.31v. However the TJ Max dipped to around 27 or 28, I know lower then 30 is danger zone. But the tests completed with no errors. Any help?
