Need Video Card(s) for 1 Computer 4 Displays for Work and Gaming

I want to use 1 computer in a mixed environement . 4 Displays are needed for work. But the graphics has to support gaming - like Assasin's Creed.

I prefer Nvidia over ATI.

While the Quadro NVS 450 would support my 4 displays for work needs (as well as the Nview software allowing some cool capabilities), it is a bit shy on the gaming capabilities.

The 285GTX is awsome for gaming, but does not support 4 displays. And I do not know if the gaming cards support some of the features of the Quadro NVS cards - such as splitting a single display into multiple subdisplays.

Lastly, I don't want to break the bank. I was hoping to keep the total cost in graphics adapters around the $400 mark.

Thanks for the help.

Two GTX 260's will run you about $350-$450 depending on brand.

ATI HD 5770 in crossfire imo. It gives you eyefinity and enough horsepower for gaming. It'll run you about $330

Just so I am understanding this correctly.

The best recommendation is 2 ATI 5770 in Crossfire?

That would run up to 6 displays?

Looks good.

Still, do I need one card, or two, to support 4+ displays?
