WHS does not restore!

Just a warning, do not waste your money on Windows Home Server. I have had it for a year and now that I finally need to do a restore I find that WHS does not do that very well. It seems it is not compatible with the onboard gigabit NICs in my Gigabyte MB. So WHS is unable to perform its most essential task!

I'm trying to do a complete restore to a PC with a GA=EP45-UD3P MB. Research shows that WHS restore has incompatibility issues with certain on-board Ethernet cards. The only resolutions I've found is install a discreet Ethernet card which is absurd.
