those benchmarks don't take into account longevity or reliability do they though?
from what i've heard from 250MB/s to 550MB/s won't make a huge difference in game performance. Heck I've heard RAMdisks don't make a huge difference

But is it possible to "choose wisely" from that link, or are those scores biased by benchmarks that have no practical application? The consensus on this forum and others I've been reading is that the 4k random read is the most important parameter effecting real world performance. If that's the case the Crucial M4 would rank much higher that than it does in that hierarchy. If not, I should have chosen e.g. the Samsung SSD 830 over the M4.
