Configuring xp media center to work with digital cable
Cable switched to a digital signal. As such I can tune my HD TVs to receive the digital channels. Now they are not coded as they are on cable. For instance Fox is 11 on the converter box but shows up as 61.1 on the HDTV. I have an HP media entertainment PC that came with MS Media Center XP set up with a Hauppenhage card. According to the instructions, I could get cable, Digital Antenna and digital Satellite signals. If I could tune Media Center manually, I could tune in these channels, but apparently MS is somehow tied into the TV guide listings. Can I somehow get MC to see these digital stations?
