I'm building a system and I was looking for the perfect motherboard. Hopefully it exists...it probably doesn't. I chose the ASUS P7P55D-E LX, though I read some reviews and saw that if you make use of the USB 3.0 or SATA 6.0Gb/s technology. It cuts your PCIe x16 slot down in bandwidth to x8. I can't have that. I could care less about the USB technology, but I would love to make full use of both the SATA 6.0Gb/s and PCIe x16 technologies.

I'm going to be running an Intel Core i5 750 in this system. So it would have to be an LGA 1156 board that supports that CPU. I'm guessing it will be a P55 board, if at all. Hopefully ASUS or Gigabyte, they seem to be the better brands these days.

EDIT

I take that back. Apparently, that's just how the P55 boards are. On the one ASUS model that has both, it's use of USB 3.0 or SATA 6.0Gb/s. On the two Gigabyte boards I found it's use of USB 3.0 and SATA 6.0Gb/s cause it. Guess this is the limitation of the economic system.
