I realize that the power supply needs to upgraded already. My problem is the damn card is so long it is jamming into the SATA cables on the motherboard and will not go down all the way. So my thoughts was to add some type of an extender and found this.

Will this part allow me to "raise" the card above the cables so I can plug it into the slot correctly?

what you need are right angle sata connectors i had the same problem on a xfx board i had used some right angle sata cables problem solved. o and btw when posting links just copy and paste the link.

I think if you use that riser you are gonna create more problems with clearance in the case. And it wont line up with expansion slot.


Found this one on Amazon that looks like they are a little smaller.
