We have 2 servers, one is just a file server and the other is a web server. we are not using a domain based network. everyone gets their ip addresses from the router, including the servers. we have a vpn setup on the file server that works fine. the only problem is we can't access any other computers on the network except for the file server. is there a way to connect to other computers on the network through the file server?

Can you not access the other computers via their IP addresses?

Try pinging the other computers, see if you get a response. Also, make sure the computers all all on the same workgroup.

thanks for the help but i figured it out, the ip addresses on our network on 192.168.1.*** but the server was assigning the vpn clients with 192.168.0.***, i just forced the server to assign the right ip addresses and everything is working
