Linksys BEFSR41 v4.2 bricked. help please

browsed for the last few hours trying to figure out how to reset it and only found the 30/30/30 and tftpclient, tried it 2 times and the power light still blinks. i tried to upgrade the firmware from the 2006 version to the

and its when my router stopped working, cant get it to reset doing the 30/30/30 steps that ive read. also tried the tftp client but didnt work unless i wasnt doing it right. is there another way to fix this? was upgrading the firmware to see if it had something to do with my PS3 only getting NAT3 while connected through the router. while its connected through the modem directly it has NAT1. not sure what i messed up and what settings i have to change to get it NAT2 or NAT1 on ps3 with it working properly for pc also. not sure how to set up UPNP for ps3. set up dmz(if the ip i put was correct for ps3 not sure) to try getting NAT2.

In case this was the cause, never update firmware via a wireless connection. Always wired.

its a wired router, doesnt have wireless. i tried to update it from admin section of the router setup page.

ive already done the 30/30/30 steps and have had no luck recovering it
