i ahve 4 gigs of DDR3 OcZ gold edition (2x2 modules) wouldi r matter if i also get a another 4 gig kit from crucial or corsair? and if the ram is diffrent speeds what happens?

Not really... It should all work fine. However note that if your OCZ memory is running at CL8 1600 MHz right now, and the next RAM kit you buy runs at CL9 1333 MHz, you will have to run your memory at CL9 1333 MHz or whatever your slowest RAM can run at.

so i would have to set it manually to the slower speed or would it do it automatically?

It should do it automatically, although it's best to set it manually as if it does not, then you might be running 1333 MHz CL9 RAM @ 1600 MHz CL8 which could cause stability problems.
