IE6 - My saved .JPG's are now JPE's

Archived from groups: microsoft.public.windowsxp.configuration_manage (More info?)

Could someone help please? When I right click and do a
save picture as on a .JPG file IE6 saves the file as
a .JPE, and not a .JPG and because of this I cannot see
the .JPE files in my directories. Before SP2 I did not
have this problem,when I right clicked to "save picture
as" It saved in the .JPG format (and named .JPG extension)
since SP2 All are saved as a .JPE, any help would be
greatly appreciated!
