Hi Tomers!,

Im kinda excited about the new Ivy Bridge tech and its seems to be really porwerfull.
For reference ill post my rig in the bottom of this post.

This are my questions:

1- If I buy any of the new pentium sandy bridge, can i use 1600 DDR3 Memory?
2- I have read that Ivy Bridge is gonna be socket 1155, but I have my doubts. Will my Mobo will be enough?
3- And last question, Will you guys recommend me to get the 2600k or wait until ivy bridge is out. my main worry is the price.

MOBO -> http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130583
RAM -> Any 1600 DDR3

1. Yes. 1600 CL9 is Sandy Bridge's price/performance sweet spot. Get 1.5v spec like Corsair Vengeance or G.Skill Ripjaws X.

2. Ivy Bridge is LGA 1155 just like Sandy Bridge. That mainboard will work fine.

3. Ivy Bridge won't be out until April 2012 or so. If you're using your system primarily for gaming, grab a 2500K.
