Overclocking mean to gain extra power from the cpu by setting up multiplier, overclocking improve system performance but remember overclocking might be become a risky situation beside it can shorten your cpu life. Unfortunately you have such a weak and oldish cpu so i don't think overclocking can make you better until you get a new gpu like 9500gt. As you are talking about SKYRIM, if you like this game and want to enjoy it much more then get the whole new system like i5. Skyrim is very demanding game.

I don't think O.C will help much, to much risk/effort and to low gain for your pc....

hate to say but u will need new rig for those games...

btw if u like the game please support the dev, by buying the original one........

Hey i know its bad to pirate them but i download them first and if i like them i buy them if they are crap i uninstall the heck of them and next month im planing to upgrade my pc with budget of 400$ (i know its low) but my dad wont even give me a penny :(

Sadly many people whom I know are more inclined to feel that something they didn't pay for is crap than something that they did pay for. The difference is a matter of commitment and investment. There are tons of academic psychology papers on this which is in part why we will not support piracy under any circumstances.

Rest assured, Skyrim is an amazing game and is worth every penny and minute invested in it.
