Hi, my Laptop switches on but the screen is black. When I took in for repairs they said the problem is with the motherboard BIOS. How do I fix this?

Hi newcomer and welcome to the Tom's hardware forum.

U need download the original BIOS version of the laptop and do a booteable disk to install the BIOS.
