Every game lags

I got 512kbs, but when it comes to playing games for eg CSS or COD4 I keep constatly lagging, 600 ping. Unplayable outrage.

Well another old pc is connected, but it doesnt use much, im with AOL which are throting my internet.

Are you downloading while you are playing games cause that will lag you.
