ok, so after owning and OC'ing cards such as Gigabyte GT430 (1st HTPC), then the MSI GTX 550 Ti, Palit GTX 560 Ti,

and lastly, Leadtek GTX 670...

so, i OC'ed from stock 915mhz, 988 mV...

to 1027mhz, 1013 mV...

and i gain a meekly 4 to 5 fps gained with 3DMark11..

BEFORE

AFTER

so, i know Gigabyte, Asus, Palit, MSI, all have factory OC similar to my OC speed,
as i am doing manual OC,

1. can i get 1200mhz? my current OC temp is 78C though, manual fan control bring it back to 74C.

2. is 80C ok for my card? dont want to go past safe max temp though...

oh...n btw, here's my relaxing mountain view desktop...

On a stock card, I would not OC it any higher. 78C is already pretty hot for a 670. If mine got that high, I would probably get pretty worried. I just don't think the risk of killing your card is worth the extra frame or two. If you insist, do not let it get past low 80s.

hmm..yea..i think you are right...its not worth risking my $390 card...

i think i just leave it at stock speeds though...would not go over 71C under full load...
