Radeon HD 4670 or Geforce GTS 250?

The GTS250 is a rebranded 9800GTX, and is about 3.5 tiers above the 4670.

4670 ~ 9600GSO < 3870 ~ 9600GT < 4830 ~ 9800/8800GT < 4770 ~
8800GTS 512 ~/< 4850 ~ 9800GTX/GTS250

Get the GTS250. Neither will be powerful enough to use all 1GB of RAM, but the GTS250 will be able to use far more of the RAM than the 4670.
If you can find a cheaper 512mb version, get that. If the price difference is within $10, get the 1GB version.

GTS250 can max almost everything at 1280x 1024 the HD4670 provides adequate gaming at 1280 x 1024.

The GTS 250 is much more powerful option if you plan to keep it a few years.

It will require a more powerful power supply than the 4760 though ~400w

The GTS 250 draws 69 watts, about 30 more than the 4670.

I have a 650 W power supply, so power usage isn't an issue. Looks like I'm going with the GTS 250.
