looks like a good build to me. Is there an error in your pricing on the power supply? You can get a 750w PSU from a top quality manufacturer for a lot less than $150

WOOPS! I had the "+" in the wrong spot. That price is for the combo of the case AND the PSU.

switch out the ram for the eco series:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

and just get 1 1tb hdd f3 when it is in stock, unless you plan on a raid systems, and to the person above me, the 150 is for that and a 922 haf, so it is a great price, and ocz is a top quality psu.

Of course OCZ is...I was just making sure that he wasn't paying $150 for it. Also, his ripjaw ram has the same timings as the eco series and is currently $6 cheaper when factoring in shipping.

but the voltage is 1.35 volts= higher oc and better ram

I'm really not trying to be argumentative, but can you explain to me how a lower voltage set will achieve a higher overclock? (when factoring in the other limiting factors)

I do see the merits in it producing less heat/less power consumption though.

actually, let me rephrase:

which memory would be the best for gaming?

there, and lower voltage=less heat=higher oc and less used up power.

I'm digging it, the only thing I would've changed was that I would have included a DVD reader and I would have purchased Win7 x64 OEM.

Did you buy the SATA cables for the color? I've never bothered with it but have always though my case looked "busy". I like the idea of having all the cables the same color.

*the Samsung I have on there is a DVD Reader/Burner.

*i got the SATA cables because i need them to rebuild my old computer that i'm giving to my friend.

*i know the wrist wrap is useless but when i learned how to build, my friend used one so now it's habit :kaola:
