Usb exceeded power outage

Hello,
i have connected a wireless adapter to my pc for wireless internet in my home and it come ups exceeds power output. I have never seen this before. Any fixes??

How many other things do you have plugged into usb ports?
USB limits power to 100ma I beleive and up to 400Ma provided nothing else is drawing usb power, If this is a new device I would take it back and get something else. If thats not an option you may have to unplug other usb device(s) or get an externally powered usb hub.
