My Panasonic Showstopper PV-HS2000 displays "Please Wait a Few Moments ...."
screen when turn on but it doesn't do anything after that, I can't use
remote or even turn it off with the power button. Is it bad sign? this
unit works before .......
Thanks

These units will often reboot themselves with no warning if there's an
error. It's likely to be a damaged disk.

Have you rebooted it? Hold the power button down.

I was able to get the system up after swapped out with another 160gb hard
drive. Now I can only record 1 show and it won't record another drive
because it's full. I just need to figure out what went wrong when I image
the drive, wish there is a way to tell how much space you have in that
system.

Thanks

Did you patch the drive after loading the image?

Sounds like it thinks it has a very low capacity.

When you connect that drive to a computer, does RTVPatch show the
correct size?

Are you sure you used the "patch target drive" command right?

You wouldn't use 'patch' instead of 'restore' (WHAT are you
patching?), but AFTER 'restore'.

Where can I find good reading for RTVPatch, I restored Showstopper & Replay
30 image 3.02 onto a 160gb hard drive but it seems lacking space and only
allows to record 1 show after that the drive is full, someone suggested to
patch to make it recognize big hard drive. Am I doing it wrong?
Thanks
