Hi amisty, first of all your model has a potential problem with the battery - from UK Packard Bell website - https://customercare.packardbell.com/customercare/PBUpdate.aspx
You should read this and see if your laptop battery needs to be replaced.
In regards to your webcam problem, the only thing i can suggest is to re-install the webcam driver, which is available here - http://www.packardbell.co.uk/pb/en/GB/content/download
Select on this screen : Notebook - EasyNote - EN MX52, the drivers will then be listed underneath your selection.
The driver is only for Vista, but should work, just be sure to chose the correct version, 32bit or 64bit, depending on which version of Windows 7 you are using.
Remove ( uninstall ) the old driver before installing the one you have downloaded.
You may need to re-install all the drivers on the page above and check that all Windows 7 updates are also installed.
Try this and let us know how you get on.
