Hi,

I'm sure this is a somewhat common post, but I need to disable the onboard graphics on our HP Slimline PC. The graphics have gone bad and I have a video card to replace it, but I need to shut off the motherboard graphics first. I would just imagine that I could disable it through the BIOS right? Motherboard specs below. I just need to make sure I know what I'm doing because I don't want to screw anything up.

In most newer computer with onboard graphics, will disable the onboard graphics when you install a GPU in to it.

If you install the GPU and windows still sees the onboard graphics go into the BIOS and disable it.
