Hi. Ive been searching for a way to overclock my Processor to 3.2 or 3.6 GHz. Ive read many articles and forums on peoples set-ups but i have not been successful with almost all of them sadly.

If someone can tell me what i should put for all the fields required for a stable overclock, many thanks to you!

Mobo: P5K-VM (LGA775)
Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.40GHz
Kentsfield 65nm Technology
RAM: 4.00 GB Dual Channel DDR2 @ 334MHz (5-5-5-15) (Super Talent DDR2-667 5300 CL5, 240 PIN, 1.8 voltage)
Video Card: 1023MB GeForce GTX 550 Ti EVGA

etc info i dont think matters really when it comes to overclocking.

Hard Drives: 298GB Western Digital WDC WD3200AAKS-75B3A0 ATA Device (SATA)
149GB Western Digital WDC WD1600AAJS-00PSA0 ATA Device (SATA)
Optical Discs: TOSHIBA ODD-DVD SD-R5272 ATA Device
Audio: High Definition Audio Device

in CPU-z Here are the timings. not overclocked.

DRAM Frequency: 333.7-334.1 MHz
FSB:DRAM: 4:5
CAS# Latency: 5
RAS# to CAS# Delay:5
RAS# Precharge: 5
Cycle Time: 15
Row Refresh Cycle Time: 15
Command Rate: 2T

Here is the CPU tab:

Core#0:
Core Speed: 2405MHz (it toggles to 1601MHz sometimes. I have speedstep turned off.)
Multiplier: x 6
Bus Speed: 266.9 Mhz
Rated FSB: 1069.1 MHz

Core Voltage: 1.272V

If any additional infois needed just say so. I would like to get a good voltage because thats really only been my problem for me. Trying to find a stable vcore.

I tested 8x400 went from 1.3v moving up to 1.55v none of them were stable for me.
My DRAM freq was set to DDR2 800MHz with the timings 5-5-5-15
Most additional things like transaction booster were disabled.
the PCI thing was set to 100.

Any responses will be appreciated.
