Where to download Sim2 Objects

I was wondering where the best place is to download new objects. After
playing the game for a good 30+ hours you get bored that every house
you built looks the same because you always buy the same fridge, TV,
bed, etc. I wish there were many many more objects. There are quite a
few (I would say sufficient) wall styles and carpets and you can do
tons of stuff as far as designing the exterior of your home but there
are just too few objects. I already downloaded the ones on the Exchange
website, but there are only 20 and most of them are not that great.

Any good sites? Do you think there will be a massive add-on just with
objects?

Thanks for all and any help.

Be sure and read all the faqs and appropriate stickies. You have to
join, but it's free.

Links for many, many sims2 sites with object, skin, neighborhood and house
downloads.

I also strongly recommend anyone to join the sims resource - it's
invaluable, the hairstyles, clothes, lots (cos I'd rather play than build
atm) complete sims, and OBJECTS....wow... well worth my paltry
subscription amount, and our aussie dollar is almost worthless so it's way
cheaper for those from the US....

But why pay for something when they rotate the free downloads often. I'd
say sign up, as that part is free too, but just visit the site from time to
time to gather the free items.

I'm with Jo, it's way worth the measly $4.50 per month charge, and the
mesh/recolors there are great quality. I download at other places besides
SimsResource, but that one is definitely my #1 stop for Sims2 stuff, after
that I go to modthesims2, and then if I am still wanting more I go to other
websites hosted by individuals. Anyway I would highly recommend paying for
the subscription, and that way you always have access to the mesh files as
well as the recolors.

Amazingly the meshes are also on the free rotation list :)

Yes, but not at the same time that the recolors are rotated there. Sure
saves a lot of hassles trying to get them imho :)

Sorry about arguing here. It all stems from something that happened between
me and TSR a few years ago. I will NEVER subscribe there, but I will grab
the quality freebies. The only time I am interested in the meshes is if
some other site has used them and I need them to use the recolors.
Amazingly some of the creators have allowed their meshes to be distributed
at other free sites, so I have no need to go to TSR at all.
