VPN, Remote Connection, VoIP & Video Conferencing

My router lights up but does not work with either the hard wired computor or wirelessly. I tested the modem by attaching it directly to the computor it works . Is my router fried I have had it a year or so

Try resetting the router (button on rear, usually behind a pinhole). This should clear corruption, but it may switch off wireless if that is the factory default.

In any case you should try addressing the router's user setup screens -- I'm not familiar with the model you name so I suggest you re-read the literature that came with it or download the manual from the maker's website.

If you can access the setup screens, the router may well be working.
